In memory of Kim Shattuck

I have recently learned of the passing of Kim Shattuck, most famous with the Muffs but various other groups as well.

I also recall first finding the Muffs way back in 2010/2011 timeframe as I was at my first web development agency job.

Perhaps what struck me most is that I was not at all aware that she was ill and perhaps by intent as the family and band probably did not mention it much, until the passing.

If you have heard of them at all, it’s likely because of their cover of “Kids in America” at the start of the hit comedy “Clueless”, but I hope that the music provided below may pique your interest more than one single.

Regardless, I wanted to share some of my favorite Muffs videos here as a small tribute to Kim and the band she fronted so effectively.
